Help - Related films page

The Related films page displays all films within AFI Catalog associated with a name or genre. This page is reached by clicking a linked name or genre from a full record page. The Related films are displayed like search results, in reverse-chronological order by year. Up to fifty (50) results will be displayed and additional matches can be accesses using the "1 | 2 | 3" navigation. The Film search results page contains the following information:

• Re-sort option.
• Refine search option.
• Your search terms/criteria, the number of hits (i.e. the number of times the search term or expression occurs in the database), and the number of entries retrieved.
• Matching records, which includes film title, release year, country of origin and director (there may be more than one).

To re-sort the display of the Search results, select the re-sort option you desire, either reverse-chronological or alphabetical (default) and click Go!

To view the Full record page for a film in your search results, click the film title.

A tickbox ( ) appears to the left of each film title. Clicking on the tickbox will add the film record to a list of selected records which you may e-mail to yourself or others. If the tickbox is already selected ( ), that film title is already in your list of selected records.

If you wish to e-mail yourself or others details of films, click on the Selected records link in the toolbar to review the list and obtain the e-mail records option.
